Residents can now access new community financial resources aimed at assisting families and individuals in managing their finances. Local officials announced several workshops and programs designed to provide financial education and support on December 15, 2025, at the Community Resource Center.
These initiatives are intended to empower residents with essential financial literacy skills, helping them navigate budgeting, saving, and investment strategies. The workshops will take place throughout the upcoming months, with specific sessions tailored to different age groups and financial situations.
Organized by the City Finance Department in partnership with several non-profit organizations, these programs aim to address growing concerns over financial stability in the community. Participating organizations include the Local Financial Empowerment Coalition and the Community Savings Bank.
Previously, similar workshops have helped numerous residents gain crucial skills, significantly impacting their financial well-being. This new series will build upon those efforts by providing additional resources and up-to-date information relevant to today’s economic environment.
Residents interested in attending the workshops can pre-register through the Community Resource Center’s website. Additional details, including session dates and times, will be available online. For questions, contact the City Finance Department or visit their office during business hours.
