The Johnson Funeral Home will host a series of workshops focused on obituary services starting January 15. The sessions aim to guide community members on how to write meaningful obituaries for their loved ones.
These workshops will be held at the funeral home every Tuesday at 6 PM and will last for approximately two hours. Participants will learn about essential elements of an obituary, including how to capture personal stories and significant life milestones.
Organized by the funeral home staff, the service is open to all community members seeking assistance in commemorating the lives of family and friends. Funeral director Mark Johnson emphasized the importance of preserving memories through well-written obituaries.
This initiative follows previous community offerings such as grief support groups and estate planning seminars, which have received positive feedback. This new workshop represents an additional effort to support families during difficult times.
To participate in the workshops, interested individuals can register by calling Johnson Funeral Home at (555) 123-4567. There is no cost to attend, but space is limited.
