Local Community Gathers for Annual Winter Festival This Weekend

Community members are invited to participate in the annual Winter Festival taking place this weekend at Riverfront Park. The event runs from Saturday, December 14, to Sunday, December 15, from 10 AM to 6 PM both days. This festival celebrates local artisans, festive foods, and winter-themed activities for families.

The Winter Festival aims to promote community spirit and support local businesses. Attendees can expect a variety of vendors showcasing handmade crafts, food trucks offering seasonal treats, and live entertainment throughout the day. Special activities for children, such as craft stations and visits with seasonal characters, will also be available.

The festival is organized by the Downtown Business Association in collaboration with the City Council. Local nonprofit organizations will also participate, providing opportunities for community engagement and volunteering.

This event has been held for over a decade, attracting hundreds of visitors each year. The Winter Festival is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and has become a staple of the holiday season in our area.

For those interested in attending the Winter Festival, no registration is required. Visitors are encouraged to bring their families and enjoy the activities. For more information, residents can visit the Downtown Business Association’s website.
